NOTICE OF RECEIPT OF
TAX ROLL AND WARRANT
TAKE NOTICE, that I, Susan A. Haag, the undersigned and Collector of Taxes for the Town of Austerlitz, County of Columbia and State of New York, have duly received the tax roll and warrant for the collection of taxes within the Town of Austerlitz for the year of 2024, and that my hours for the purpose of receiving the taxes listed on said roll for the month of January, 2024, are as follows: Monday-Tuesday and Friday, 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., Wednesday and Thursday 8:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m., at the Austerlitz Town Hall located at 816 Route 203, Spencertown, New York.
TAKE FURTHER NOTICE, that taxes may be paid on or before January 31, 2024, without charge or interest. On all taxes received after that date, one percent will be added for the first month and an additional one percent will be added each month or portion thereof until paid or until the return of unpaid taxes to the Columbia County Treasurer pursuant to law.
TAKE FURTHER NOTICE, that pursuant to the provisions of law, the tax roll of the Town of Austerlitz will be returned to the Columbia County Treasurer on the first day of April, 2024.
